International Montessori STEM Academy

Montessori STEM Courses 3-6Y

The curriculum includes five main areas:
1. Practical Life
Children learn everyday skills like pouring, buttoning, cleaning, and preparing food. These activities build coordination, concentration, and confidence.
2. Sensorial
Using special materials, children explore colors, shapes, sounds, textures, and sizes. This helps sharpen their senses and prepares them for future learning.
3. Language
Children build vocabulary, listen to stories, and start learning how to write and read through fun, hands-on activities.
4. Math
With beads and counting tools, children learn about numbers, counting, and simple math like addition and subtraction in a concrete way.
5. Culture
This includes geography, nature, science, music, and art. Children learn about the world, animals, plants, and different cultures.
In a Montessori classroom, children choose their work and learn at their own pace. Teachers gently guide them, helping each child grow in their own way. These early years help build a strong foundation for future learning and life.

Montessori STEM Courses 6-12Y

1. Language
Children expand their reading and writing skills through stories, research, grammar, and creative writing. They also learn how to express their thoughts clearly and with confidence.
2. Mathematics
Students move from concrete materials to abstract thinking. They explore arithmetic, geometry, fractions, and word problems in a way that helps them understand why math works, not just how to do it.
3. Cultural Studies (Science, Geography, History)
Children explore the universe, earth, animals, plants, human history, and different cultures. These lessons are called the "Great Lessons" and are designed to spark wonder and curiosity.
4. Practical Life (Care & Responsibility)
Older children take on more responsibility, such as organizing their time, planning projects, or helping in the classroom and community. These activities build independence and leadership.
5. The Arts
Music, drawing, drama, and other creative activities are part of everyday learning. Children use the arts to express what they’ve learned in other subjects.
6. Peace and Social Skills
Montessori education helps children learn how to solve problems peacefully, respect others, and build strong friendships.
At this stage, children are learning how to think for themselves, work with others, and make connections between ideas. The Montessori approach gives them the freedom to explore while supporting them with structure and guidance.
These are the years when children become confident, curious, and capable learners.
